Position Summary
The Department of Genetics at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences CenterNew Orleans ( LSUHSC -NO) School of Medicine invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor Research. This non-tenure research track faculty role will advance the institutions research mission through independent and collaborative scholarship laboratory and/or clinical investigations extramural funding and mentorship. The faculty will contribute to the NSF CREST grant. Prior experience as a principal investigator on grant awards from federal funding agencies is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a sustainable research program while contributing to departmental and institutional initiatives.
