Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3x12s Every other weekend & holidays required No on-call

Travel Rate:Up to $2521/Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Emergency Departmentfor an exciting job in Neptune NJ.

Responsibilities:

Perform rapid and accurate assessments of pediatric patients with a wide range of medical and trauma conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide expert emergency nursing care including resuscitation stabilization and ongoing management in Pediatric ED PICU NICU and Triage.
Educate and communicate effectively with patients families offering support during stressful situations.
Document nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with hospital policies and standards of care.
Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Float to similar units within the facility as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 18 months of pediatric ED nursing experience including experience within the past six months.
Proficient in clinical assessment emergency interventions and care for pediatric trauma and medical emergencies.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills to work effectively under pressure.

Education:

Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses & Certifications:

Active New Jersey RN license or Compact State License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale certification
4-hour CEU in Stroke Education
Telemetry certification
Preferred: NRP and ENPC certifications
