Work hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Compensation range: USD $1300 - $1500/month

Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based video editing agency that offers subscription-based editing services for businesses and content creators. The agency helps creators produce high-quality reliable and fast video content enabling them to focus on storytelling and audience growth. They specialise in a wide range of projects from fast-paced short-form videos for social media to high-energy long-form YouTube content and branded storytelling pieces that bring each clients vision to life.
About the role
The Senior Video Editor will play a key role in elevating the overall quality consistency and speed of video outputs across the agencys projects. You will take ownership of complex edits including storytelling pacing and creative direction and ensure all deliverables meet both quality and deadline expectations.
This role suits someone who can balance creativity with discipline has a strong understanding of engagement-based video editing and can adapt their editing style to fit diverse brands and creators.
Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of videos including short-form social content and long-form YouTube videos.
- Take full ownership of projects from raw footage to final export ensuring all outputs meet creative and technical standards.
- Maintain consistent tone style and branding across all edits while bringing creativity to enhance viewer engagement.
- Apply music sound effects typography and graphics that enhance engagement.
- Perform color grading sound mixing and final polishing for professional results.
- Add light motion graphics or visual effects (e.g. tracking transitions animated overlays).
- Organise and manage project files using shared drives.
- Use agency subscriptions (Epidemic Sound or Envato Elements) for licensed music sound effects and stock footage.
- Consistently meet project deadlines and daily/weekly output targets.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or speed delivering an average of 34 short-form edits per day or 12 long-form videos weekly depending on complexity.
- Collaborate closely with the producer to align with client goals.
- Communicate proactively about progress feedback and challenges - no silent delays or missed deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional video editing experience preferably within agency or content production settings.
- Experience editing high-energy and creator-style videos is highly regarded.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects for compositing and animation.
- Have hands-on usage of stock/music libraries (Epidemic Sound Envato Elements etc.)
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles across YouTube TikTok Reels and brand content.
- Strong storytelling instincts creative judgment and attention to detail.
- Proactive self-motivated and disciplined takes ownership of deadlines and deliverables.
- Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
