About the Role
As the Year 1 Teacher you will provide engaging and high-quality learning experiences that help pupils transition smoothly from the EYFS into Key Stage 1. Youll foster a love of learning and help pupils develop strong early literacy and numeracy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver creative engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils

- Create a warm inclusive classroom environment

- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet diverse needs

- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum delivery

- Communicate effectively with parents and carers

- Participate in school life and professional development activities

What Were Looking For:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching in KS1 ideally Year 1

- Good understanding of the National Curriculum and early learning principles

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills

- Enthusiastic nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
