We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our this role you will be responsible for installation maintenance and troubleshooting of our advanced onboard systems ensuring they operate at peak performance. You will be a key contributor to customer satisfaction and product improvement applying your technical expertise and innovative mindset to solve complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical electrical and automation-related installation repair and maintenance tasks on Evac systems onboard vessels.
- Conduct annual surveys troubleshoot equipment failures and support warranty claims.
- Train vessel crew on proper system operation and maintenance.
- Support newbuild and retrofit projects supervising installations and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Capture field insights and generate detailed technical reports with improvement suggestions.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to propose and test innovative solutions.
- Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and hydraulics.
- Previous experience in mechanical installation electrical work and basic PLC automation knowledge.
- Proficiency with Festo CPX Siemens TIA Portal Vacon VFD or similar systems.
- Passion for new technologies and a proactive R&D mindset.
- Ability to create detailed technical reports and improvement proposals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work onboard vessels worldwide and adapt to dynamic environments.
