Job Summary

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Denton TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and align process control objectives and tasks to help resolve manufacturing challenges and lower production costs.
Design equipment material and workstation layouts to illustrate how processes can be completed efficiently.
Evaluate operation sequences material flow and layout information to detect inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Develop and define manufacturing processes and labor standards to minimize waste of time materials and labor.
Coordinate and lead training efforts.
Create and maintain documentation for standard work procedures.
Execute physical modifications to facility layouts.
Design and construct plant updates jigs and fixtures as needed.

Education and/or Experience

Experience in production optimization and training of manufacturing processes such as assembly piping and wiring
Knowledge of technology and materials used in above processes
Knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of SAP manufacturing software
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
High School diploma and 6 years experience in manufacturing
Associates Degree in Engineering preferred and 4 years experience in related manufacturing processes
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
