Job Summary
DECEMBER 1ST START DATEMS/Tele FLOAT RN60 Mile Radius Rule36 hours12hr shifts - weekend holiday and call required7p-7a13 weeksFLOAT: MS 4 Pav MS 5 Pratt and the acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro)BLS ACLS REQUIREDRATIO: 1:5-6Meditech experience requiredTraveler must hold CURRENT NY should have completed at least 1 successful traveler time travelers will NOT be from an accredited School of patient diagnosis: Septic COPD CHF post op general med surg post-op plastics ALC (waiting to go to nursing home)Required drips and medications: Heparin drips mag and k ridersPossesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care and ability to assess patients needs e.g. clinical teaching mental and recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe be able to function well in stressful situations and have good creative problem-solving leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and be required to assume duties as a charge interpersonal organizational and written and verbal communication skills required.
