Location: Watertown NY 13601

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 12-hour Varying shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2412; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in vascular and obstetric imaging and be capable of performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasounds while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in vascular and obstetric specialties.
Evaluate and document patient conditions using medical sonography techniques.
Review images for quality and accuracy prior to submitting for physician interpretation.
Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
Demonstrate excellent patient interaction skills while providing safe and effective imaging services.

Required Requirements:

Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience.
Specific experience and training in medical sonography particularly vascular and obstetric imaging.
Knowledge of general anatomy physiology and medical terminology.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Excellent interpersonal organizational written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently take initiative and exercise sound judgment.
High degree of honesty integrity and confidentiality.
Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible.
Current BCLS certification.

Candidate must reside within 60 miles of Watertown NY.
