Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Enhance residents mobility strength and quality of life through targeted therapy interventions
Provide pain management using manual therapy therapeutic exercise and assistive devices
Educate residents and families on therapy goals and progress
Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants as appropriate
Monitor outcomes and adjust care plans to ensure optimal recovery
Maintain accurate records and uphold safety and infection control standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated holistic care
Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current and valid New York State PT License
Excellent communication organizational and patient engagement skills
Preferred
Prior experience in skilled nursing long-term care or rehabilitation settings
New graduate Physical Therapists encouraged to apply
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate: $50 $60 per hour ($104000 $124000 annual equivalent)
