Job Description

Position : Lead Python Developer IV

Location : Remote but Preference is TX

Duration : Long term contract

Description

Follows company software development lifecycle to design code configure test debug and document system and application programs.
Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
Reviews functional requirements analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency.
Participates in architecture design and code reviews.
Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise of the specified software application.

Core Requirements:

7-10 years of experience
Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL Oracle Snowflake)
Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Power Automate Python scripting or equivalent
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP) including services such as Lambda S3 Azure Functions or BigQuery
Establishes infrastructure standards and requirements.
Evaluates supports Web Application Server system enhancements and performs quality assurance functions
Proficient in Python or R for data analysis and model development
Good knowledge of data quality & data management platforms ( Informatica is a plus).

Nice to Haves:

Experience in design development and implementation of scalable API integrations between various internal and external systems.
