Position Summary: The Motorsports Team Coordinator will oversee the operations of our student-led Formula SAE (FSAE) team. This individual will act as the primary administrative authority for the team maintain regular communication with student leaders monitor progress and ensure the team stays on schedule. Rather than providing hands-on technical design or fabrication the Team Coordinator will assist with logistics planning and administrative tasks while providing guidance when needed. The ideal candidate fosters student accountability while guiding the team through the complexities of a large-scale technical project. One of the main goals of this role is to help maintain long-term sustainability for the team so future students can continue to be involved and benefit from the experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the main administrative contact for the FSAE team connecting students with faculty school administration and sponsors.
Fosters student accountability while guiding the team through the complexities of a large-scale technical project.
Receive updates from team leaders and help ensure goals and deadlines are met.
Support students in organizing the team and resolving management challenges.
Coordinate team recruitment and outreach event participation.
Manage purchasing budgeting and material procurement.
Manage logistics for events including travel and registration.
Attend weekly team meetings to stay updated and offer support.

Required Qualifications:
Education or equivalent experience in Engineering Applied Technology or a related technical field.
Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge and skills in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or bachelors degree in Engineering Applied Technology or a related discipline.
Experience with Formula SAE or similar engineering competitions.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
A strong engineering or technical background is essential to understand the scope of the teams work and effectively support and guide team members.
Strong leadership organization and time management skills.
Proficient in project management and tracking milestones.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional demeanor and the ability to build trust with students faculty and sponsors.
Able to engage in the colleges mission vision and values.
