Supervisor Wardrobe
- Fixed term (one month) contract in November 2025
- Variable time position
- 20 hours per week
Internal opportunity to lead train and oversee wardrobe staff. You will also provide technical assistance to presenters and support to the Production department by overseeing the efficient and safe operation of wardrobe equipment and facilities in order to support to performers during rehearsals performances and events.
Your skills and experience
- A proven ability as a theatrical wardrobe supervisor with wardrobe and wig maintenance abilities required.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment prioritizing work resolving problems quickly and efficiently to ensure daily deadlines are achieved
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of understanding of wardrobe maintenance and ability to undertake complex repairs and alterations including cutting sewing and costume making.
- Extensive experience working with performing arts companies (Ballet Opera Contemporary Dance and Theatre) providing a high degree of support in the presentation of large-scale performances
- A thorough understanding of the differences in cut and construction between opera ballet and drama costumes
