Job Summary

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician you will assemble electro-mechanical parts do various types of drilling complete small wiring terminations read schematics and fabricate brackets jigs fixtures and misc. work in support of projects in a manufacturing/production environment.

The best fit candidates will have Electro-Mechanical experience with:

  • Schematic reading and comprehension (Mechanical and Electrical)
  • Measuring tools (Multi-meters Continuity testers tape measure calipers etc.)
  • Hand tools (Wrenches Screwdrivers Torque tools Small power tools)


LOCATION:Elkridge MD 21075
POSITION: Contract
PAY RANGE: $27.00hr

***Government Contractor Site - Must be a US Citizen.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assemble mechanical parts as instructed in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions process documents travelers etc.) into sub-units or complete units.
  • Mechanical assembly concepts to include gear and motor drive assembly
  • Wire electronic components as instructed in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions process documents travelers etc.) into sub-units or complete units
  • Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units including sub-assembly process assembly
  • inspection modifications upgrades and rework.
  • Completes production/quality related documentation
  • Cable and Panel wiring
  • Performs work in accordance with quality and engineering standards
  • Responsible for inspecting and testing their own work before moving to next routing step
  • Keep work area clean and organized as to present a professional work environment


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (Candidates will need a 1. Passport or 2. Government ID and Birth Certificate)
  • 5 years experience in manufacturing/production environment
  • Overtime required when needed.
  • Good Oral and Written Communication required
  • Various types of drilling include holes match drilling countersink counter bore and step drilling.
  • Schematic reading and comprehension (Mechanical)
  • Measuring tools (Calipers Tape Measure Feeler gauge etc.)
  • Hand tools (Wrenches Grinders Screwdrivers Torque tools and small power tools)


Preferred Certifications/Experience:

  • Associated degree in electronic field
  • Certifications (Current or Non-Current)

o IPC-610
o IPC-620
o J-Standard 001
o Quality controlled environment
