Requirements (Education Experience Licensure Certification):
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors program in Urban Planning Community Planning or related field.
  • Valid Drivers License issued by the state of residency
Job Duties (Summary):
  • Assists planning staff in the following areas: preparing for meetings; working on long-range planning; special projects; development review tasks; collecting and assembling data; preparing reports maps and graphics to support planning and policy development.
  • Participates in planning teams and assists planning staff in identifying planning needs preparing proposals and evaluating new tools innovations and technology for application in planning projects.
  • Assists planning staff to develop and utilize applications to improve public involvement promote collaboration and build consensus.
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other related duties
