Description:
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9a - 2p or 10a - 3p
We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically knowledgeable Scheduler to support our Interventional Radiology department. This part-time role is ideal for candidates with a background as an RN LPN or EMT who can effectively review clinical documentation and coordinate patient scheduling.
- Review incoming referrals and clinical documentation to determine appropriate scheduling needs.
- Coordinate and schedule interventional radiology procedures in collaboration with physicians nursing staff and other departments.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointment details preparation instructions and follow-up requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Assist with verifying insurance and authorization requirements as need
Licensure/Certification/Registration: active licensure in one of the followings is preferred - RN LPN EMT; BLS; ACLS

Education: Associates degree
C: Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in related field. Preferred experience in radiology or other procedural areas. Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures and other medical terminology.
Special Qualifications: Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in scheduling systems (EPIC preferred). Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
