| The Student Health Care Center (SHCC) at the University of Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse II (RN II) to join our team. As an RN II at the SHCC youll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care under the RN License standards in the Immunization and Allergy Clinic collaborating with multiple clinical teams and rotating weekend coverage as needed. Your responsibilities will include administering immunizations for students faculty and staff assisting with our annual flu campaign administering allergy injections and coordinating patient care with outside allergy clinics providing treatments and procedures administering medications screening and counseling patients and collecting and documenting vital signs visual acuity and Point-of-Care testing addition you will have the opportunity to provide independent nursing care using established practice protocols and standing orders along with other clinical duties as assigned RN II responsibilities: Education and Counseling: Administrative and other duties:

- SKILLS:
- Skilled in administering intramuscular subcutaneous and intradermal injections
- Skilled in administering oxygen
- Skilled in starting monitoring and administering intravenous (IV) fluids and medications
- Skilled in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Skilled in performing wound care and Point-of-Care Testing
ABILITIES: Ability to communicate efficiently in writing and verbally with patients family members and staff Ability to take pertinent histories and document in appropriate health records Ability to administer medications Ability to provide treatment to patients using guidelines policies Practice Protocols and Standing Orders
