Job Summary

For Linklaters Office in Warsaw we are currently recruiting for the Client Accounting Junior Specialist role.

Your role

  • Take ownership of the monitoring recording and processing of client account and office account receipts

  • Keep accurate and timely records of client monies held by the firm

  • Allocate and segregate monies accordingly and follow up with banks lawyers for cash without the proper descriptions

  • Prepare the appropriate paperwork for client account payments following the Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts Rules

  • Prepare client interest calculations

  • Prepare reports in regards to the operation of Linklaters client account ledgers

  • Generate regular reports including Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliations

  • Prepare the daily schedule of monies to be moved from the office bank account to the client bank account and vice versa Inter Bank Transfer Report

  • Continuously look for process and efficiency improvement

  • Be responsible for KPIs results to meet customer needs

  • Share knowledge of the SRA Rules with other Linklaters local offices other teams members

  • Escalate issues risks not typical situations discrepancies from the normal process to the manager

  • Prepare Cashflow report

  • Supporting and working as a backup for other team members

Your experience

  • Fluent English

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in SSC sector preferably AP / AR / CA processes

  • Started or graduated with a university degree in finance or professional accounting course

  • Quality oriented attention to detail and accuracy

  • Customer focused and service orientated

  • Ability to cope with changing priorities of the team and fluctuating volumes

  • Well organized works efficiently with tight deadlines
