Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer collaborates with project engineers to execute research planning and design activities for mechanical parts manufacturing processes products and tooling. Assists in the development and improvement of manufacturing systems proposing and implementing engineering enhancements. Develops and documents inspection methods to ensure the quality of manufactured components. Provides supervision and training to co-op engineering students as needed. Pay Range:$79872-$119808 Key Responsibilities: - Assists in research design detailing; documents functionality test product participates in machine layout.
- Assists project level engineers in researching and developing systems.
- Designs develops creates prototypes tests refine modification troubleshoots.
- Develops and maintains systems engineering documents and training.
- Keeps up to date on new mechanical and electrical new products and recommends procurement of applicable new devices.
- Analyzes equipment breakdown for continuous improvement.
- Ensures production continuity and assists the Maintenance Department with troubleshooting as needed.
- Research evaluate and recommend off-the-shelf equipment or engineered solution to accomplish specific jobs.
- Establishes project schedule and then maintains it.
- Documents designs and ECNs to foster continuous improvement.
