Join us as a Lab Technician (Bitumen & Asphalt) in our Mount Maunganui team. You will be testing routine bitumen and asphalt samples from our various local operations. This role is full time with any downtime filled helping out with our other laboratory operations.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

(times may differ due to the varied nature of our work flexibility will be required and may include nights and weekends).

In addition to the above you will:

  • Perform quality control testing on our asphalt and bitumen samples.

  • Ensure accurate data entry and result analysis.

  • Liaise with customers.

Were looking for someone with:

  • Minimum two years experience in bitumen and or asphalt QC testing.

  • Ideally KTP or close to achieving KTP status.

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workload.

  • Full Class 1 License.

  • Ability to lift 25kg product samples.

  • Data entry and result analysis to ensure continued high level of service.

  • The ability to work both as part of a large team but also autonomously when required.
