What does the role involve

Were looking for a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in C# and backend development to join our growing technology team. Youll be responsible for building scalable maintainable solutions technologies and leveraging cloud services particularly Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable high-availability applications using C#.
• Build RESTful Web APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Implement Azure Functions for serverless computing solutions.
• Utilise Azure API Management (APIM) to create document and manage APIs in a secure and scalable environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions within the Hastings Direct infrastructure.
• Write clean testable code and participate in code reviews and deployment processes.
• Stay current with the and Azure features to drive innovation within the company.

Skills we would love you to have:

• Proficient in C# with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications Core / .NET 6.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and continuous improvement practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and tools such as Octane Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Comfortable working in Visual Studio and related development tools.

Desirable:

• Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions Application Insights App Configuration
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit and mocking tools like Moq.
• Relevant Azure certifications
