Position OverviewWe are excited to announce the opening of our brand new Excel Centreset to open at the end of January 2026. This beautiful new service will feature four rooms providing a warm and engaging space for children to learn grow and thrive.
We are seeking a passionate Diploma Room Leader to join this foundation team. This is a hands on on the floor role where you will lead a room mentor educators implement high quality programs and support childrens growth curiosity and development.
ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire a team of educators in your room through on-the-floor mentoring and support.
Plan and deliver engaging holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Ensure the health safety and wellbeing of every child in your care.
Build positive relationships with families and support open communication.
Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service.
Qualifications and SkillsDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Valid Working with Children Check
Current First Aid CPR Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
Child Protection training/certificate
Experience leading a room and mentoring educators
Excellent communication organisational and interpersonal skills
