What You Will Do

• Manage the implementation of the sites EH&S policies procedures and programs ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.

• Develop and deliver EH&S training materials maintain standardized documentation and update processes to drive continuous improvement in EH&S performance.

• Lead cross-functional projects and EH&S committees collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance EH&S initiatives.

• Implement and oversee key EH&S programs that support site operations and ensure compliance with regulations and Management System requirements.

• Conduct risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations to mitigate workplace hazards.

• Ensure compliance with explosive safety and general safety protocols.

• Lead initiatives to meet aggressive safety and performance goals collaborating with individuals across all levels.

• Contribute to emergency response and evacuation planning ensuring site readiness and safety compliance.

• Manage independent projects while providing leadership within multiple team efforts.

• Pursue continuous growth and development in EH&S leveraging opportunities for career advancement and success.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.

• Experience in an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) professional setting.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Additional certifications such as ASP CSP CIH P.E. or CHMM are preferred.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

• Knowledge of EH&S regulations and management systems

The salary range for this role is 90000 USD - 182000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
