Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialist- Hoffman Estates iss looking for a Veterinary Technician (Cardiology)to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
As a Veterinary Technician (Cardiology)youll play an important role in pets lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Responsibilities:
While traditional responsibilities including venipuncture catheter placement and performing anesthetic procedures will still be required youll also have an extensive amount of communication responsibilities with clients. We build lasting relationships with our clients and youll develop special bonds with both the clientele and the patients.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Veterinary technician licensure preferred not required
- 1-2 years of clinical experience highly preferred
- An associate or bachelorsdegree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or the equivalent combination of education training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
