The Digital Media Art program at Irvine Valley College is a comprehensive and dynamic program that encompasses photography video production and graphic design. We pride ourselves on providing cutting-edge education that prepares students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving digital media landscape. Our program serves a diverse student body with varying backgrounds and career goals.
We are seeking passionate and experienced graphic designers to join our faculty as part-timeinstructors specializing in the following:
Social media design. This role offers the opportunity to influence the next generation of digital media professionals by integrating current industry knowledge and practices into the classroom. Candidates should have a proven ability to work in a project-based learning environment stay current with social media software and practices and be capable of teaching other graphic design courses.
Course:DMA 120/520 Social Media Design: Content Creation and Brand Strategy
Presentation design. This non-credit workforce preparation course provides students with the opportunity to develop essential skills needed to enter the job market confidently and competently focusing on creating compelling presentations using various presentation design software including PowerPoint Keynote InDesign and more. The ideal candidate should be capable of teaching storytelling typography color and composition. Candidates should have a proven ability to work in a project-based learning environment stay updated with presentation software and industry best practices and prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce through hands-on practical training.
Course: DMA 556 Presentation Design (Non-Credit)
