We are currently offering up to a $50K Sign-on Bonus for Veterinarians at Eastern Animal Hospital!!!

Our AHAA Accredited facility is designed to handle a wide range of caseload needs. Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical surgical dental and preventive care in a welcoming and supportive environment. With a focus on client education and personalized treatment plans we strive to build lasting relationships with both our patients and their owners. We have a complete in-house lab and all digital radiographs. We also offer AI assisted dictation tools to help you move through your cases efficiently and reduce record keeping time. We also provide a high-tech to doctor ratio including our CVTs!
We have a new Mindray Vetus E7 Ultrasound endoscopy and laparoscopy for advanced imaging minimally invasive procedures and diagnostic capabilities.
We offer urgent care/emergency for those patients that need to be transferred or admitted.
We are a 12-doctor practice and we welcome doctors with all experience levels. Our hospital provides a 3-6 month Mentorship Program tailored for those just starting out. We are looking forward to inviting you into our supportive and collaborative practice!

Responsibilities
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
- Maintain patients medical records.
- Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues policies and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
- Appropriate state licensure.
- Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
