Ready for a career glow-up As an E-commerce Merchant you will be responsible for driving online sales for brands and the category by developing and executing Online strategies for brands at Sephora! You will be responsible for achieving the financial and strategic goals of your brands including online sales and stock turnover. You will implement the category objectives brand strategies client needs and digital visual presentation within the online category; as well as establish and maintain excellent relationships with vendors manage assortments and seasonal products manage compliance with the government standards and maintain consistency with the US strategy.
What Youll Do:
- Execute the overall e-commerce strategy for growth with new product introductions and strategic expansion of current brands.
- Manage assortment for the online channel
- Execute promotions launches and animations in partnership with cross functional teams
- Execute online strategy to drive sales through owned marketing channels inclusive of email mobile tactics and site.
- Work closely with brands to review the business and strategies to maximize online sales inclusive of -only products and incremental marketing opportunities.
- Interpret and communicate management direction to team members within the business unit to ensure that each initiative is developed within the desired timeline.
- Leverage data insights take full ownership of KPIs and utilize analytics tools to drive performance.
- Continuously audit and optimize on-site experience ensuring high-quality on-site content product detail pages assets and merchandising to maximize conversion.
- Conduct regular competitive and market analysis to identify emerging trends pricing opportunities and consumer expectations.
- Establish a strong partnership with the Category Merchant(s) US Team and ensure Canadas perspective and needs are voiced.
- Work closely in partnership with the planning team to ensure Brand objectives are appropriately aligned to inventory investment.
- Foster a work environment that embodies the Sephora values. Be a strong leader to your direct report(s).
What Youll Bring:
- You have a Bachelors degree or college diploma in retail management (or a related field) - an MBA would be a bonus.
- Youre an experienced buyer/merchandiser/planner with at least 3 years in e-commerce merchandising category management or digital retail
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Solid understanding of merchandising principles promotions and pricing strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple launches or campaigns simultaneously.
- You are a creative thinker who is willing to take calculated risks with an ability to seek out new opportunities to grow the business.
- You love product (beauty is your jam!) understand consumer trends and behaviour and inspire fearlessness in everything that you do.
- Youre curious a go-getter and take ownership and responsibility for your work.
- You love tackling problems and using your analytical skills to find solutions.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and relish in working collaboratively with cross-functional groups.

- You understand the Canadian marketplace and corresponding vendor organization.
- You have some knowledge of the Canadian cosmetic industry and corresponding Health Canada regulations and requirements for product compliance in Canada
