Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager

Location: Michigan

Salary Range: $80000 - $120000

Employment Type: Full-Time

Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager required to join a global manufacturer of precision cutting tools used for metal cutting and CNC machining.

Sales Engineer responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors to drive sales and support technical needs.
  • Analyze customer requirements and provide expert guidance to recommend tailored tooling solutions that maximize sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Mentor and train distributor teams and internal staff to enhance product knowledge and promote solution-based selling.

Sales Engineer requirements:

  • Prior experience selling cutting tools used for metal cutting / CNC machining or prior experience selling similar products or solutions in precision engineering such as CNC machinery machine tools or machined components.
  • A technical background in manufacturing CNC machining or Mechanical Engineering is desirable although not a requirement.
  • Located in Michigan or willingness to relocate to Michigan.
  • Driving license.
