Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager

Location: Michigan

Salary Range: $80000 - $120000

Employment Type: Full-Time

Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager required to join a global manufacturer of precision cutting tools used for metal cutting and CNC machining.

Sales Engineer responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors to drive sales and support technical needs.
Analyze customer requirements and provide expert guidance to recommend tailored tooling solutions that maximize sales opportunities.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic planning.
Mentor and train distributor teams and internal staff to enhance product knowledge and promote solution-based selling.

Sales Engineer requirements:

Prior experience selling or using cutting tools used for metal cutting and CNC machining or prior experience selling similar products or solutions in precision engineering such as CNC machinery machine tools or machined components.
A technical background in manufacturing CNC machining or Mechanical Engineering is desirable although not a requirement.
Located in Michigan or willingness to relocate to Michigan.
Driving license.
