Job Summary:
The UPS Store - Murfreesboro is looking for a Part Time Center Associate to join their team. The Part Time Center Associate will provide exceptional customer service assisting customers with a variety of transactions including package handling and shipping as well as receipt of incoming packages.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay for this position is between $12.50 and $16.00 per hour paid addition part time associates may be eligible for other benefits and discounts depending on the store.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and answer inquiries in a timely manner
Package and ship customer orders in accordance with UPS guidelines
Receive and process incoming packages
Assist customers in selecting the appropriate shipping and packaging options
Process payment by credit card or cash
Maintain an organized safe and clean work area
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
Knowledge of shipping billing and other customer service related processes
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods
