Your role at Sephora:

Sephora USA Inc. seeks Engineer Software Engineering in San Francisco CA. You will: Analyze science engineering business and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems system administration issues and network concerns for our organization. Responsible for the ownership and evolution of software development and microservices. Design build and maintain reusable and reliable code. Perform bug fixes and performance improvements. Work with product and engineering team to understand requirements evaluate new features and help drive decisions. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Deliver systems that provide insight in operational metrics and help resolve issues. Working from home in the United States is permitted.40 hours/ week.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer Software Engineer or related the alternative the employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field and 2 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer Software Engineer or related position.

Skills:

Must have experience with: Java; JavaScript; HTML/CSS; Kafka; IntelliJ; VS Code; Splunk; Grafana; SQL; MySQL; GraphQL; MongoDB; Spring; Redis; designing data ingestion pipelines;

architected optimizing and scaling large services built in Scala.

Rate of Pay: 40 hours/week; $174650 to $175000 / year
