POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION:Warehouse Attendant 1st

DEPARTMENT:Warehouse

LOCATION:Ottumwa

SALARY CLASS:Salary Non Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management.
.Do cycle counts every month / spot checks of inventory
Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers.
Verify shipments against packaging slips.
Keep work areas clean.
Issue out parts and put away in coming parts
Other duties as needed.
Issue / Reverse goods Receipts

Working Conditions:

Production and maintenance settings
Exposure to various chemicals and machinery.
Slippery floors cold temperatures Warm temps

Relationships:

Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management

Special Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English
Bilingual skills helpful
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Computer knowledge required
Good organizational skills
Ability to work 50 hours
Good attendance and safety records
Plus have working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Maintenance back round would be helpful for identifying parts
System skillsSAP
Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
Good Attendance Record (Less than 3 points for internal candidates)

Education:

High School degree or equivalent required or equivalent combination of education and experience
