Job Summary
We have several casual housekeeping roles available across our Oaks and Avani properties in Melbourne!
Were expanding our housekeeping teams and looking for dedicated detail-oriented individuals who take pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. If youre energetic have a sharp eye for detail and thrive in a supportive team environment wed love to welcome you on board.
About the job:
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms including making beds with precision vacuuming floors andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
- Building strong professional relationships with team members guests and contractors to help foster a positive respectful work environment.
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $32.31
Saturday: $38.78
Sunday: $45.24
Qualifications :
Successful candidates will have:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Good physical fitness and stamina with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests team members and contractors.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
