Job Summary

Core Responsibilities

Lead planning design and execution of airport engineering projects ensuring quality and compliance.

Oversee design components coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project documentation.

Develop proposals bid packages feasibility studies and technical assessments.

Ensure budget and schedule adherence monitor milestones and manage risks.

Represent the organization in meetings presenting technical details and progress updates.

Address project challenges enforce contract specifications and oversee quality assurance.

Mentor junior engineers in airport design and project execution.

Business Development

Support marketing efforts and attend industry events to expand business opportunities.

Build relationships with clients regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Contribute to project scopes and fee proposals for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering.

12 years of experience preferably in aviation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word.

Strong knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and funding processes.

Familiarity with South Carolina airport infrastructure is a plus.

Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.

Licensure & Certifications

PE licensure in South Carolina (or ability to obtain).

Valid drivers license.
