Job Summary
Job Title: Engineer I NPI
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) projects evaluation and execution at the site
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve new products.
- Participate in the design prototyping and testing of new products.
- Work with Global Engineering team on product transfers and product development projects
- Responsible for designing the required tools/fixtures.
- Responsible to define the manufacturing process flow for new products
- Responsible to handover to the new projects to Operations with required deliverables
Qualification:
- Bachelors in related curriculum such as Electrical or Electronics or ETC Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with 4-5 years of experience.
OR
- Diploma with specialization Electronics & Communications or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 7-8 years of experience.
Skills Required:
- Should have basic knowledge on how to read and understand the manufacturing drawings
- Should have fiber cable and fiber termination knowledge
- Should know 7QC tools FMEA and control plan
- Basic skills on AUTOCAD/Solid works is preferred
- Include demonstrated competencies and physical mental & interpersonal skills.
- Skill Ability to effectively interact with personnel of various levels and disciplines. Ability to regularly contact influence and negotiate with both internal and external individuals on complex issue.
- Strong technical skills attention to detail and an enthusiasm for hands-on learning.
