Senior Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Mercedes Specialist (Independent)

Location: Orpington Area Basic Salary: Up to 50000 DOE
Hours: MonFri 8:30am5:30pm Optional Saturdays (8:30am1:00pm) paid as OT
Holiday: 20 days bank holidays

A well-established independent Mercedes-Benz specialist is currently seeking an experienced Senior Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their small close-knit team of skilled professionals. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and deep expertise in the Mercedes brand this is an ideal opportunity for a highly competent technician looking to take real pride in their workwithout the bureaucracy of a main dealer environment.

The Role:

Youll be working in a modern fully equipped workshop with all the expected diagnostic tools and systems at your disposal. Responsibilities include:

Carrying out high-level diagnostics fault finding and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles
Supporting the wider team with technical queries and guidance
Working independently on a floating ramp system shared across three bays
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service

About You:

Senior-level technician with strong diagnostic experienceideally Mercedes-trained or with extensive MB background
Confident using a wide range of diagnostic equipment
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
Professional reliable and committed to high-quality work

Workshop & Benefits:

Fully equipped with floating ramp system (3 ramps 3 technicians)
Access to all major diagnostic tools
Competitive base salary up to 50000 depending on experience
Overtime available on Saturdays (optional)
Generous holiday allowance: 20 days bank holidays
