Job Summary
Ooh La La Dessert Boutique is looking for a talented Cake Decorator to join our kitchen team in Katy! Were a creative fast-paced bakery known for our beautiful cakes and scratch-made desserts and were looking for someone who loves bringing sweet ideas to life.
What Youll Do:
- Ice and finish cakes with buttercream and cream cheese frostings (no fondant or sculpted cakes)
- Decorate wedding and custom cakes with clean consistent detail
- Create simple artwork and hand-piped designs that match Ooh La Las style
- Collaborate with our pastry team to keep production moving smoothly in a busy kitchen
- Work MondayFriday with some Saturdays as needed
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience icing and decorating cakes in a high-volume bakery
- Strong buttercream and piping skills; some artistic ability or design experience is a plus
- A team player with great attention to detail and pride in your craft
- Positive attitude and reliability were a small friendly team that depends on one another
Pay: Commensurate with experience
