Turnaround P6 Scheduler

The Turnaround Scheduler will be a supplemental contract employee hired to work under Clients technical direction.
RoleDescription:
Position performs tasks and clerical duties according to clientsgoalsand objectives. Position develops a detailed schedule of TA activities during the planning phase of the event. Coordinates these activities with other groups both internal& external. Accountable for updatingchanging& trackingthe schedule during the execution phase of the event.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuresall turnarounds are scheduled with the approved scheduling tool within the requirements specified in the Scheduling Premises Document.
The Schedule Strategy must mesh seamlessly with the Detailed Planning processes to ensure a reliable and executable schedule.
Responsible for verification and finalization of scheduling all activities for full TA events up to $50mlnor 200000 direct field labor hours
Coordination with numerous other disciplines - operations engineering procurement finance
Intimately familiar with all turnaround work processes and assigned T/A Block for multiple units.
Drives schedule update analysis and reporting during execution responsible for daily schedule production during execution.
Highly demanding and fast paced job particularly during execution
Balancing and delivering results in the 5 performance areas of safety environmental qualityscheduleand cost.
Delivering results against industry (Solomon) benchmarks in turnaround cost and duration
Maintain strong relationship with entire team during times of high energy and stress
Working with site experts to develop skill sets for equipment unique to the individual site.
Knowledgeable in the TA work process utilized in manufacturing sites
Computer skills - P6
10 Years Experience in executing turnarounds
5 Years Experience in planning turnaround work
A minimum of10 yearexperience using Primavera and demonstrate expertise in TA scheduling using Primavera.
