ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Trade Apprentice is a valuable part of the Ville Platte Housing Authority because of their function of work to make minor repairs to buildings and perform general maintenance. This incumbent will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Foreman. He will instruct you on your work duties on a day-to day operation.

Minimum Qualifications

No experience or training is required.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

This position will assist the Maintenance Repairer with plumbing carpentry electrical HVAV and appliances floor stripping painting and preventive maintenance.

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: Probational

Career Progression:This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group (CPG).

Work Schedule:Works hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00pm.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
