This role is responsible for driving solution architecture for enterprise clients aligning product development with market demands and leading a high-performing sales engineering team to support revenue growth. Key Job Responsibilities:- Lead mentor and scale a team of Product Managers and Sales Engineers who support the sales organization with technical expertise solution design and pre-sales engagement.
- Develop standard processes presentations and solution architecture templates to accelerate and streamline the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify strategic accounts and tailor technical solutions to their needs.
- Represent the company in high-level technical discussions with enterprise customers partners and internal stakeholders.
- Own and evolve the product roadmap across our telecommunications managed services and internet services portfolio.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering operations and customer success to ensure timely delivery and support of product features and SLAs.
- Conduct market analysis gather customer feedback and track competitive intelligence to inform product decisions and innovation.
- Define go-to-market strategies and support marketing with product positioning messaging and technical collateral.
- Partner closely with the Engineering and Service Delivery teams to ensure feasibility scalability and operational readiness of product solutions.
- Act as a bridge between sales engineering and executive leadership ensuring alignment between business goals and technical capabilities.
- Participate in executive-level planning and present product and technical strategies to internal stakeholders and key clients.
Required Skills/Abilities:- Proven leadership experience managing sales engineering and/or product teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Deep understanding of internet infrastructure managed services networking technologies (IP/MPLS DWDM SD-WAN) and telecom regulatory environments.
- Experience with enterprise carrier and wholesale solutions such as Ethernet DIA Cloud Connectivity and Voice services.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure colocation and dark fiber/wavelength services.
- Understanding of telecom infrastructure deployment and provisioning processes
- Proven ability to assess customer needs and translate them into scalable cost-effective technical solutions
- Experience leading RFP/RFI responses and managing complex solution proposals
- Expertise in conducting customer-facing demos technical discovery sessions and solution workshops
- Ability to influence buying decisions by clearly communicating ROI and technical value propositions
- Ability to write product requirements documents (PRDs) user stories and high-level design specifications
- Strong understanding of pricing models margin analysis and competitive positioning
Education and Experience:- Bachelors degree in Engineering Telecommunications Computer Science or related field required
- 812 years of experience in technical sales product management or engineering roles within the telecommunications or ISP industry.
- 3 5 years experience managing product life cycles from concept to launch in telecom or IT service environments
