Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB) is a publicly funded sub-acute specialist health service encompassing a 32 bed inpatient unit centre based clinic and a community palliative care service. CHCB is located and part of the Calvary Kooyong Integrated Precinct in Caulfield South in Melbourne. The integrated precinct brings together premium retirement living in the Hyson Apartments contemporary residential care in the Huntly Suites Calvary in-home care a GP clinic and Calvary Bethlehems specialist sub-acute health services.
About the role
Our Health Information Support Officer is the senior member of the Health Information Services Department. This role is working onsite in the HIS Office it is a permanent part time role at 32 hours per week spread over either 4 or 5 days a week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator with the ability to both understand data and train/work with clinical staff effectively to enter data correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for clinical data management integrity and reporting to the Executive Department Heads the Department of Health and other regulatory bodies as required.
The role is also responsible for the training of new staff and working with existing staff on how to correctly enter clinical data and how to us our hybrid digital medical record systems.
On occasion this role also supports the other team members when needed due to leave.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated organisational skills integrity and professionalism
Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
