Job Summary

Join a leading pediatric healthcare team in Houston as a PICU Clinical this role you will provide specialized pharmacological care to critically ill children collaborating closely with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care unit. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct clinical pharmacy services for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop implement and monitor medication therapy plans
  • Participate in rounds provide drug information and optimize medication safety and efficacy
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical research within the PICU setting
  • Educate staff patients and families on appropriate medication use

Qualifications

  • PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Training completed
  • Current experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in PICU acute care pediatrics or childrens hospital settings
  • Must have completed residency training; current residents are not eligible
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a high-acuity team-oriented environment
