- Estimated Pay: $35 to $38 per hour based on experience

Working Hours
The CPR/AED Instruction will be provide starting 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The training sessions as noted below:
- 15 December 2025 31 March 2026 Six (6) Secessions
- 01 April 30 June 2026 Eight (8) Secessions
- 01 July 30 September 2026 Four (4) Secessions
The anticipated number of employees per session is 12. The date/time will be negotiated between the CPR/AED instruction and the government.
Summary of Duties
The CPR/AED Instruction will provide Philadelphia Navy Yard personnel with critical training required to prepare employees for medical emergencies. The CPR/AED Instruction will provide First Aid and CPR with AED Safety training to an estimated 220 employees. The training will ensure that each employee has the knowledge skills and experience they will need to be equipped for unforeseen emergencies within their mission.
The CPR/AED Instructor will be required to provide the man mannequins and AED system.
Qualifications
- Certified as a CPR/AED instructor by either The American National Red Cross The American Heart Association or an approved trainer with certification from The American National Red Cross.
- Five (5) years experience in conducting First Aid CPR training with AED

Attire
The contractor is expected to wear professional clothing while on duty.
Duties and Responsibilities
- First Aid training should have trainees develop hands-on skills using mannequins and partner practice.
- Training must go over the Good Samaritan rule.
- Trainers must provide attendees that complete the course with a valid card that certifies their completion (includes an expiration/ or training is good thru date).
- First Aid and CPR with AED Safety training will be set up throughout FY26 to educate 220 employees on the knowledge skills and experience they will need to be equipped for unforeseen emergencies within their mission
