Job Summary

E-Logic is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck/Van Operator to operate trucks and vans in support of the Space Development Agency (SDA) relocation and logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for the secure transport of office furniture IT equipment and other materials between facilities ensuring all moves are conducted safely efficiently and in compliance with SDA DoD and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Operate company-assigned trucks or vans to transport materials equipment and supplies between designated SDA facilities.
They may also assist in packing items securely for transport and unpacking them at the new location following established procedures to protect belongings.
Coordinate with the Project Manager Movers and Material Handlers to support scheduled move phases.
Verify transport manifests delivery documents and inventory tags for accuracy.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles; report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
Follow all SDA and DoD security and access control procedures during transport operations.
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle at all times.
Assist with material handling packing and site setup when required.
Providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring satisfaction throughout the moving process is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Secret Clearance is mandatory.
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record are often required especially if driving a moving truck.
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not always necessary; training may be provided.
Understanding and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injuries and damage to property is essential.
Familiarity with DoD or federal facility access and delivery procedures preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely and operate hand trucks dollies and lift gates.
