Job Summary
Who we are:
Established in 1964 our recently remodeled practice has a great reputation for practicing high level medicine (i.e. internal medicine dentistry preventative care and soft tissue surgery) with skilled veterinarians and support staff. We pride ourselves in having an environment of collaboration among the doctors and a training environment for our staff. We have a very busy practice with six exam rooms cat ward dog ward surgery suite dental suite and a large reception for the comfort of our clients and patients. Our hospital is paperless on Ezyvet software and while we have an extensive in-house pharmacy we primarily utilize Vetsource for other medications.

Douglas Blvd Veterinary Clinic has a very fun and cohesive team we care very much about each other and maintain an uplifting culture. All of our staff members are Fear-Free certified and build strong bonds with our patients and clients. Our support staff go through an extensive training program and monthly team building exercises to be the best team so we can deliver superior client service and exemplary patient care. We work with local specialists to provide in-house ultrasounds echocardiograms and specialized soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

Whats in it for you:

The base salary for this position can range between $130000 - $170000 annually with 22% production for a 40-hour work week (4 tens) and will be determined based on previous experience skill set and practice type. Total compensation may also include a sign-on or retention bonus.

Our hospital has been happily serving the Placer County community for many years with some very long-standing and loyal clients. Our beautiful county is full of walking and biking trails dog parks museums wildlife boating fishing adult sports complexes community events.
