Synergie Australia is seekingTrades Assistantsfor a renowned structural steel workshop based in Port Adelaide.

We have various TA/General Labourerroles available in the northern suburbs and city so even if you dont meet all requirements listed for this role please still apply if you have had general labouring and/or TA experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive Trades Assistant to join our clients dynamic team; this will initially be casual with a view for permanency. Your primary duties will involve assisting the workshop and dispatch ensuring smooth operational flow. Experience in an industrial workshop setting is crucial to thrive in this role. Standard hours are Monday Friday 6am 2:30pm however when very busy availability is needed for 10-hour days plus Saturdays. This role will commence on November 6th to cover leave until January 6thbutmay be ongoing for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the workshop and dispatch with general labouring duties and some local deliveries as required (manual ute)
• Grind steel plates
• Assisting boilermakers and welders where required
• Strip carpet and organise timbers to slip between steel pieces
