background in exercise physiology personal or athletic training to join our amazing team.
Job Qualifications:
Hold current and valid license in the state of Alabama or completed accredited program with pending
final examination and licensing.
Comply with APTA Code of Ethics.
Follow guidelines associated with patient confidentiality (HIPPA).
Able to communicate effectively with patients families co-workers and other health care
professionals.
Performed the physical tasks required of a manual physical therapist assistant.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Understand that Nesin Therapy Services (NTS) strives to provide one-on-one direct manual physical
therapy to enhance patients quality of care.
Be proficient in performing the clinical duties of a licensed physical therapist assistant as outlined by
the Alabama State Practice Act and the APTA to include but not limited to patient treatments
discharges and clinical supervision of aides.
Clinical Communication including effectively communicate treatment strategies goal progression and
DC planning to PT and other treatment team members and communicate any information regarding
changes in patient status to evaluating therapist in a timely manner in order to ensure appropriate
change or progression in plan of care.
Business/Charting Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and timely documentation that complies with state laws company quality assurance
standards and insurance regulations.
Responsibilities of NTS team membership:
Knowledge of and adherence to the vision and strategic plan of NTS as well as the policies and
procedures as outlined by the Employee Handbook.
Possess traits of a lifelong learner including active participation in the NTS mentoring program co-
treatments as the schedule allows and willingness to attend on-site and off-site continuing education
courses offered outside of normal business hours.
Be available to participate in occasional marketing events outside of normal business hours.
Attend be prepared and participate in weekly WIG / Team meetings and monthly clinic meetings.
