About the Role
Were seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in a dynamic growth-oriented this role youll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records ensuring timely month-end closings and partnering across departments to keep operations running smoothly. Youll work closely with Purchasing Supply Chain and Operations teams blending analytical precision with real-world business impact.
What Youll Do
- Lead an accurate and timely month-end close process ensuring completeness and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Prepare and review journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.
- Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain to validate and audit product costs.
- Coordinate and record physical inventories collaborating with Operations and Business Optimization teams.
- Calculate and monitor labor and overhead allocations.
- Support Accounts Payable and Receivable functions guiding staff verifying invoices and ensuring proper documentation and disbursement.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and compile annual property data by entity.
- Assist with audit preparation selections and supporting workpapers.
- Develop and deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- 36 years of progressive accounting experience; construction or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Outlook) advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems and general ledger maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills able to build partnerships across departments.
