About the position
A permanent position as Senior Consultant (Anesthesiology) is available at Division of Emergencies and Critical Care Oslo University Hospital. The position is affiliated with a part time position as Professor II SKO 1013/Associate Professor SKO 1011 (20 % position) in Medicine (Anesthesiology) at the Institute of Clinical Medicine Faculty of Medicine University of Oslo (UiO). It is required that the position holder attends both positions.
Division of Emergencies and Critical Care is located at Aker Radiumhospitalet Rikshospitalet and Ullevål. Work place will be decided depending on the applicants competence and special interest.
The division covers emergency medicine critical care medicine pain medicine and all kind of anesthesiology procedures (> 50000 annual anesthesia patients). Education of medical students and specialist training are integrated in the division and there are 10 professors in the academic faculty.
