Responsibilities
- Provide direction for interviewing hiring counseling training and disciplining for Pastry associates in coordination with Human Resources and Executive Chef.
- Schedule production work for associates.
- Controls all food costs and payroll.
- Responsible for purchasing supplies.
- Coordinate production of all baked goods and dessert items ordered by outlets.
- Completes any special requests ordered by outlets or other departments.
- As needed prepare wedding cakes for social functions.
- Coordinate and execute V.I.P. amenities and lobby activations.
Qualifications
- To be a clear thinker remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times.
- Basic math skills needed to understand and implement recipes and measurements.
- Maintain a professional business appearance attitude and performance
- Move bend lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
- Ability to obtain Riverside CountyFood Handlers Card
- Must be available weekends and holidays.
