Demi Chef De Partie - Cold Kitchen

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Design Professional (DCDP) to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. In this role you will be responsible for designing and planning state-of-the-art data center facilities that meet our organizations growing needs and industry standards.

• Develop comprehensive data center designs including power cooling network and physical infrastructure
• Conduct capacity planning and analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization
• Create detailed floor plans rack layouts and cable management designs using AutoCAD or similar software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data center designs with business requirements and IT strategies
• Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and solutions to improve data center efficiency and performance
• Manage multiple data center design projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
• Perform site assessments and feasibility studies for new data center locations or expansions
• Develop and maintain documentation for data center designs including technical specifications and operational procedures
• Stay current with industry trends standards and best practices in data center design and operations

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field
• 5 years of experience in data center design and planning
• Proven track record in managing large-scale data center projects
• Extensive knowledge of data center infrastructure components including power systems cooling solutions and network architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and their impact on data center design
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices (e.g. TIA-942 BICSI Uptime Institute)
• Experience with capacity planning and analysis for data center environments
• Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices in data centers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) or DCDA (Data Center Design Aware) are preferred
• Willingness to travel to various data center locations as needed
