Job Summary
Job Title: Scaffolding Inspector
Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent and safety-conscious Scaffolding Inspector to oversee scaffolding activities in plant construction projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in scaffolding inspection within industrial or plant construction environments. Candidates who have previously worked in Saudi Arabia or other Gulf countries will be given preference. The role requires candidates to successfully clear client interviews and written assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and certify all scaffolding structures at site in accordance with international safety standards and project specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any violations or unsafe conditions.
Supervise scaffold erection modification and dismantling activities to ensure safety and structural stability.
Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections approvals and modifications.
Coordinate with safety officers engineers and scaffolding teams for smooth project execution.
Conduct risk assessments and advise on appropriate types of scaffolding for specific tasks.
Ensure all scaffolders are trained and using PPE properly during operations.
Provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with client and statutory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or any relevant technical field.
Certification in Scaffolding Inspection (CITB OSHA or equivalent) is preferred.
Must be able to pass client technical interviews and written evaluations.
Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems and international safety standards (BS EN 12811 OSHA etc.).
Strong understanding of construction safety and scaffolding risk management.
Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings and specifications.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
